Yercaud is a little but pretty hill station in the district of Salem and about 230 kms from Bengaluru. At the height of ~1500m, it provides some great landscape views and a marginally cooler weather. One of the major attractions in the town is the Kiliyur waterfalls. One has to do a good bit of hiking to visit the waterfalls though, but the views and the experience are worth the effort!
