The Ramakrishna Temple at the Belur Math, Howrah. Built in 1898, Belur Math is the worldwide headquarters of the Ramakrishna Mission. Located on the serene banks of the Ganga, it is one of the best places to soothe oneself amidst the polluted environment and the hectic schedules in the city of Kolkata. The building , a modern shrine resembles a temple, a mosque, a church if seen from different positions.
