Halebidu – The Temple that Narrates Epics

The Hoysaleshwara temple in Halebidu is a classic example of the Hoysala architecture.
It is one of the grandest temples in South India, and a must visit place, located in the Hassan district of Karnataka. 
The walls of the temple have engravings on them which depict the entire stories of Indian epics like the Ramayana and the Mahabharata.
